An Invitation for Telemedicine Product & Service Providers To Participate in the Telemedicine Technology Center at the ATA 2005 Fall Forum
Telemedicine Technology Summit The ATA 2005 Fall Forum will be held in Palm Springs, CA September 11-13, 2005. The first day of the meeting features a Venture Capital Forum for Industry sponsored by major firms interested in the telemedicine industry. On the second and third days, a Telemedicine Technology Summit will convene with two tracks to meet the needs of a wide audience. Telemedicine equipment and service providers are invited to participate in the Telemedicine Technology Center, an area designated for hands-on learning and demonstrations. This is not an exhibit area and there is no exhibit fee. The objective is to give the industry users and providers an opportunity to work together to understand more about telemedicine technology and its applications, to get hands-on experience with a diverse range of telemedicine products and services and to learn where we can go with it in the future. Telemedicine Technology Center Participating companies will provide hands-on demonstrations as attendees go from station-to-station to get first hand experience in operating telemedicine technologies used in a variety of clinical applications. While product and service providers participate fully in the entire conference, special times are set aside for them to demonstrate how their particular technology works. Products and Services will be organized by application area: Home Telehealth & Remote Monitoring Specialized Clinical Technology: Teleradiology, Teledermatology, Ocular, Telepathology, etc. Network/System Integration Services Video Conferencing Software/Electronic Patient Record/Web Based Solutions How it Works Space is limited. ATA Circle and Corporate Members are eligible for priority registration. Telemedicine Technology Center Registration opens May 8 for Circle Members, May 16 for Corporate Members. Telemedicine Technology Center Registration opens May 23 for all others. Companies will be assigned a table-top space within an application area. No pop-ups are allowed at the meeting. Companies may participate in only one application area. All electrical & AV costs will be the responsibility of participating companies. Demonstrations of interconnectivity between and among companies are encouraged. All participants must pay regular attendee registration fees.
