Research Focus
Christine Chang is an Associate Analyst on Datamonitor’s Public Sector Technology team, covering the healthcare industry. Her research focuses on technologies for payers and providers and analysis of the market trends and strategies within this sector.

Research Experience
Christine assisted in preparing evidence for one of six regional advisory committees under New York State’s Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century. The Commission reviewed the healthcare capacity and resources in the state of New York and gave recommendations on rightsizing the state’s hospitals and nursing homes. Christine has also conducted research on eating disorders and second hand smoke at the Columbia University Medical Center and the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, respectively. 

Previous Work Experience
Prior to joining Datamonitor, Christine worked at the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation where she monitored affiliation contracts, analyzed staffing allocations and revised policies and procedures. In addition, Christine has worked with a harm reduction center in New York City to improve its referral tracking process and SafeKids Worldwide, a non-profit that aims to prevent accidental childhood injuries.

Education
Christine holds a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy and Management from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University.
