Jessica Washington is an emerging communications professional with an insatiable appetite for success and a passion for mission-driven work. She most recently worked in communications at the Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF), a college success program committed to changing the trajectory of New York City's underserved students.
Jessica holds a B.S. in Public Relations from St. John's University. While working towards her Bachelor's degree, she interned in government, non-profit and corporate environments including Fingerprint Communications, The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Beauty Stat and the Design-Build Institute of America. She also volunteers at the National Guard Youth Foundation, a charitable foundation focused on combating the high school dropout crisis. In the past, she has volunteered with New York Cares and the Sean Casey Animal Rescue.
