New Industry Council Benefits & Activities at ATA 2004

ATA is introducing two new programs that will enhance corporate participation in ATA's 9th Annual Meeting & Exposition, May 2 - 5 at the Tampa, Florida Convention Center:

  • For the first time, ATA will be incorporating Exhibitor/Customer Case Study Sessions into the program. These sessions will be scheduled throughout the meeting and will be held in a classroom area on the exhibit hall floor. These sessions will give vendors and their customers a chance to showcase how they work together to develop telemedicine solutions that successfully meet the needs of healthcare providers.
  • A Medical Emergency Operations Center and Disaster Simulation is being planned for ATA 2004. The "MEOC" will be located on the exhibit hall floor and is expected to utilize resources from the local Tampa community as well as ATA exhibitors. While this project is still in the early development stages, it is hoped that the simulation will serve as a test of telemedicine applications and military-civilian effectiveness in responding to potential disaster situations.

In addition, other program highlights and marketing opportunities designed to help potential customers find products and services will be outlined.
