Claudia Tucker – Policy Council Chair

Claudia Duck Tucker is the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Teladoc Health, the global leader in virtual care She is a nationally recognized policy expert on telemedicine. She is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive government affairs strategy to ensure that access, quality and affordability of telemedicine is maintained at both the state and federal levels. Her portfolio also includes managing external affairs as it relates to positioning Teladoc Health as a resource to policy makers and regulators nationwide. Prior to joining Teladoc, she was the Regional Director for America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) covering the Southeast. In this role she worked with health plans and legislators on a wide array of issues including ACA implementation, pharmacy and telehealth issues, and policy surrounding Managed Medicaid. From 2003-2012, she was the Senior Director of State Government Affairs and Public Policy for Medco Health Solutions with a sixteen state territory. Claudia started her career in Government Affairs after serving as Chief of Staff to the Virginia Speaker of the House. Prior to that she was Manager of Domestic and International Distribution for Philip Morris, Inc.
