Global Chief Medical Officer at DXC Technology
Robert M. Wah, MD, a reproductive endocrinologist and ob-gyn in McLean, Va., was president of the American Medical Association from June 2014 to June 2015. A nationally recognized expert in health information technology, Dr. Wah is global chief medical officer at DXC Technology. He is regularly ranked in Modern Healthcare magazine’s “50 Most Influential Physician Executives.” Dr. Wah previously served as associate chief information officer for the Military Health System in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and served as the first deputy national coordinator in the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). He practices and teaches at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and the National Institutes of Health. He has served on the faculties of Harvard Medical School, University of California, San Diego, and Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
