California's Orange County invests in mHealth for the homeless

A health program targeting Orange County’s homeless population is investing $100 million over the next three years in mHealth services and other interventions.

CalOptima, which handles Medicaid spending for the indigent through the state’s Medi-Cal program for California’s third most populous county (and the sixth most populous in the U.S.), is ramping up its connected health outreach to tackle a growing and deadly problem.
