When it comes to the aging in place sector within digital health, there’s other companies and then there’s GreatCall. From its mid-2000s roots as a “smartphones for seniors” company, GreatCall has consistently seen the direction in which the market will turn and anticipated it, often by acquiring other companies like digital mobile personal emergency response system company Lively and remote monitoring company Healthsense.
