In-person appointments versus telemedicine

Telemedicine may be becoming more and more common in health care.

Think about it: Do you really need to go a doctor’s office to have a rash examined? The cameras on computers and iPhones are so good that it is quite easy for a physician to actually look at a rash and make a determination if an in-person visit is needed or a procedure may be necessary.

Perhaps you have been suffering from anxiety or need some psychological counseling. This technology is being used on a routine basis — and it’s growing.
