Oklahoma modifies 'parental bill of rights' to ok telehealth in schools

Students returning to school in Oklahoma this upcoming year will have an opportunity to use telehealth, thanks to legislation passed this summer.

SB 575, passed almost unanimously in the state Senate and House and signed by Governor Kevin Stitt in May, amends the “Parents’ Bill of Rights” to enable them to approve the use of connected health services for their children in school. The bill became effectively immediately.
