Texas A&M leads the charge to use telehealth to treat opioid addiction

Texas A&M University is the first university in Texas to use telehealth to tackle the opioid epidemic, and organizers say it’s a natural fit. “Telehealth brings the treatment to where the client already is,” said Regina Bentley, assistant vice chancellor for health at the Texas A&M Health Science Center.
