Sara Collins serves as Assistant Vice President of Professional Medical Affairs at Lifepoint Health, a leading national healthcare system headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee. In this role, she drives enterprise-wide strategy for telemedicine, credentialing, privileging, and medical staff governance across Lifepoint’s acute care, behavioral health, and rehabilitation hospitals.
A recognized subject matter expert in telehealth, Sara leads the development and implementation of policies and performance frameworks that expand access to virtual care while ensuring regulatory compliance, patient safety, and quality outcomes. She partners closely with hospital and physician leaders to strengthen peer review, OPPE/FPPE processes, and governance models that support innovative care delivery.
Sara brings deep expertise in healthcare operations and policy, holding certifications as a Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM), Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), and Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS). She also holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and a Certificate in Project Management.
