This distinguished recognition celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to telehealth and demonstrated a sustained commitment to advancing virtual care and the ATA community.

Application Requirements

To be considered for election to the ATA College of Fellows, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • ATA Membership: A minimum of eight years of membership in the American Telemedicine Association.
  • Contributions to Telehealth: Significant contributions to the field of telehealth.
  • Service to ATA: Demonstrated service to the ATA, such as SIG or Chapter leadership, SIG or Chapter membership, or Committee membership.
  • Application Materials: A current CV and two letters of recommendation from current ATA Fellows and/or members of the ATA Board of Directors.

Why Become an ATA Fellow?

Election to the College of Fellows is more than a professional distinction. It’s recognition of your leadership, commitment, and lasting contributions to virtual care.

Inducted Fellows receive:

  • Recognition at ATA NEXUS 2027: New Fellows will be formally acknowledged on-stage at ATA’s premier annual event, alongside leaders from across the virtual care community.
  • Featured on the ATA Website: Join the distinguished ATA College of Fellows and be recognized among the leaders who have helped shape the field.
