Dr. Gokhan Anil is the Chair of Practice at Mayo Clinic Health System- Minnesota and the Medical Director of Digital Practice Enablement for Mayo Clinic Health System, leading efforts to integrate innovative practice strategies and delivery models. He has extensive experience in collaborative practice design models, with a particular focus on surgical and medical practice efficiencies, staff engagement, and front-line staff-driven continuous process improvement. Dr. Anil is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and a consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic Health System. Dr. Anil’s areas of special interest encompass patient-centric experiences, high-reliability organizations, and improving cost-effective innovative care delivery models. He holds a master’s degree in Business Operational Excellence from The Ohio State University and has achieved the distinguished Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Dr. Anil continues to contribute to the field through his clinical practice in pelvic reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. He remains an advocate for the advancement of telemedicine, leveraging technology to enhance patient care, and striving to improve operational efficiencies for sustainable healthcare practice.
