ATA Action Comments in Response to Considerations for the Regulation of Generative AI-Enabled Medical Device

On behalf of ATA Action: Advocacy Shaping Virtual Care, the advocacy-focused affiliate of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), we appreciate the opportunity to respond to the Food and Drug Administration’s discussion paper on the regulation of generative AI-enabled medical devices.  ATA Action supports the enactment of state and federal telehealth coverage and fair payment policies to secure telehealth access for all Americans, including those in rural and underserved communities.
