How Prime Healthcare’s Community Hospitals Benefit from Integrated Virtual Specialists

Founded in 2001, Prime Healthcare and the not-for-profit Prime Healthcare Foundation (Prime) serve more than 600 communities across 14 states, with nearly 45,000 employees and affiliated physicians, from California to New Jersey. Prime initially engaged with AmplifyMD during the COVID-19 pandemic to solve an immediate need for virtual heme/onc and neurology coverage at Southern Regional Medical Center, a not-for-profit community hospital in Riverdale, GA. Within a few months, Prime realized AmplifyMD was much more than a stop-gap solution.
