Global Insights into the Video-Enabled Virtual Care Experience: Understanding Patient and Provider Expectations

As the pandemic has led to a surge in video-based telehealth usage, questions abound worldwide:

  • Is the shift toward virtual care a good thing?
  • Are healthcare providers and patients in agreement about the quality of care delivered via telehealth versus in-person visits?
  • How can IT decision-makers (ITDMs) best support their clinical teams with seamless telehealth solutions that maintain or even improve the quality of care?

To answer these questions and more, Escalent, on behalf of Logitech, conducted a global survey to get a deeper understanding of the current state of telehealth, measuring the current video-based telehealth sentiment amongst both healthcare providers (HCPs) and patients alike. The survey was conducted in the summer of 2021 with 900 patient and provider respondents from 23 countries that attended or conducted a video-based telehealth visit in the prior 12 months.

Join us as we reveal the detailed global findings and insights from this study, helping your organization optimize usage of video-based telehealth as we all continue to rethink what’s possible in care delivery.
