ATA HONORS EXCEPTIONAL LEADERS IN TELEHEALTH AND 2025 CLASS OF FELLOWS


Awards Presented During Nexus 2025 Annual Conference

WASHINGTON, DC, JULY 17, 2025 – The ATA recently presented its annual Leadership Awards and introduced the newest class of ATA Fellows during its Nexus 2025 annual conference. The awards were presented by Nathaniel Lacktman, Partner, Foley & Lardner, and Board Chair of the ATA.

“Our annual leadership awards honor the outstanding individuals and organizations who are stewards of a new frontier of medicine, leading with integrity and a clear vision for technology-enabled care,” said Lacktman. “This year’s awards recipients have made significant contributions to our industry, and to the ATA, shaping the future of telemedicine through innovation, dedication, and impact.”

The annual ATA Leadership Awards recognize exceptional achievements in telehealth, honoring individuals and organizations that have significantly advanced the adoption of virtual care:

Leadership in Care Transformation

  • Brandi Clark, OSF HealthCare – visionary leadership in expanding digital care access and advancing health equity for Medicaid patients across Illinois
  • Kristen Valdés, b.well Connected Health – national leadership driving innovation, interoperability, and health equity
  • CommonSpirit Health – leading the future of care through their Virtual Integrated Care (VIC) model

Advancing Access to Virtual Care

  • Melinda Cooling, OSF HealthCare – visionary leadership in bringing together clinical innovation, workforce development, and advocacy to transform care.
  • Kathi Cox, Texas Health Resources – leading the charge in building a virtual-first approach to primary, behavioral health, and care in the home
  • Advocate Health Virtual Services Group – transformative work expanding equitable access to care, setting a national standard for inclusive, technology-enabled healthcare
