CMS Patient Access & Interoperability and the ONC 21st Century Cures Act: Information Blocking Rule, Regulatory Update and Industry Response

Health care data exchange has been a priority for policymakers and health care leaders, culminating with the recent release of two finalized rules that will fundamentally change how health care data are shared. The COVID-19 crisis has also revealed the challenges associated with accessing critical clinical and claims data for patients from both health systems and payers. In this presentation, we spoke with policy leaders and thought leaders about how the ONC and CMS interoperability rules will affect providers, plans, telemedicine companies, patients, and others across the industry.
