Medicare Advantage and Telehealth Updates; New Interoperability Rules

This Legislative & Policy Update webinar covers recent updates from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) related to Medicare Advantage (MA) and telehealth.

Michael Adelberg, Faegre BD’s CMS expert, joins the conversation to talk through the summer rule allowing for MA plans to include telehealth in their base bids as well as the January announcement from CMS that their next Value-Based Insurance Design (VBID) model will allow MA plans to include telehealth providers to meet network adequacy standards. Together, these changes present a huge opportunity for expanding the reach of telehealth and proving its value. Additionally, highlights from the Interoperability proposed rule released by CMS and the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) on February 11 will be covered.
