WASHINGTON, DC, DECEMBER 9, 2025 – The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) will welcome Dr. Mehmet Oz, Administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) at its annual EDGE Policy Conference, December 10-12 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC. Dr. Oz will participate in a fireside chat with Kyle Zebley, incoming CEO of the ATA.
“Administrator Oz is shaping the future of American healthcare at one of the most consequential moments in decades, undertaking an ambitious modernization agenda, to make our healthcare system more efficient, more accessible, and more responsive to patient needs,” said Kyle Zebley, Executive Director, ATA Action, Senior Vice President, Public Policy and incoming CEO of the ATA. “Administrator Oz has spoken passionately about CMS as an innovation engine and has emphasized how healthier lifestyle choices, better nutrition, and modern tools such as telehealth and virtual care can help support patients as whole people. This is a theme that resonates deeply with the ATA community.
“During this fireside chat, Administrator Oz will articulate his vision of modernizing CMS, the Administration’s plan to work with Congress to secure long-term telehealth stability, his goals for the $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program, and the opportunities and essential guardrails for AI in healthcare,” Zebley added. “It is a privilege to have Dr. Oz join us at EDGE. We are grateful for his time and his service.” Zebley officially succeeds Ann Mond Johnson as CEO of the ATA on December 10 and will continue to serve as Executive Director of ATA Action following his appointment as CEO.
