Artificial intelligence (AI) and telehealth are expected to improve diagnostic accuracy and decrease costs. The use of AI is rapidly expanding and its applications are penetrating into medical practice, raising questions around responsible regulation and the ethical considerations to allow us to use this powerful technology wisely. This panel discussion will explore the framework of the current regulatory issues and outline the ethical issues raised by the use of AI in health care. Participants will learn how artificial intelligence is changing the standards for medical practice and licensure.
